Parsecto ("we", "us") is based in Auckland, New Zealand — a small, proudly-NZ-built team working out of one of the world's most liveable cities. This policy explains what data Parsecto accesses, why, and how it is handled when Parsecto is connected to a Facebook Page or Instagram account.
Parsecto connects to Meta's Graph API to manage social publishing for Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts that we own or administer. Through this connection, Parsecto may access:
Parsecto does not access personal accounts, does not read private messages, and does not collect data about individual visitors to connected Pages beyond aggregate, anonymised performance metrics.
Data accessed via the Meta Graph API is used solely to plan, generate, schedule, and publish content to the connected Page or Instagram account, and to report on how that content performed. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond operating the connected accounts.
Parsecto uses the following third-party services as part of its publishing pipeline:
Content sent to these services is limited to what is necessary to generate or publish a given post, and is not used by us for any purpose beyond that.
Access tokens and content data are stored on infrastructure we control, encrypted where applicable, and are not accessible to anyone outside the Parsecto team. Tokens are refreshed and rotated according to Meta's standard token lifecycle and are revoked immediately if a connected account is disconnected from Parsecto.
To request deletion of data associated with a connected Facebook or Instagram account, see our Data Deletion Instructions.
